Kimberly Cheatham is a native of South Carolina. She received her formal training while in high school and was licensed at the age of 18. Inspired by her grandfather who owned a barbershop and was a pillar of the community, she knew early this was her calling.

In 2008 she birthed Kreative Kimistry Hair Salon in Aiken, SC and later, relocated to Lakeland, FL in 2014. She has now moved back to her home state and hopes to bring all of her expertise and training to Anderson County. 

Her work has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, Huffington Post, The Real, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan online just to name a few. In 2015 she was voted Hairstylist of the Year by the Lakeland Fashion Council and again in 2019 by The Epic Polk Experience. She has styled hair for pop-culture musician Sevyn Streeter, child super model April Star, and worked with the international brand Allusions by Alekay. Not only is Cheatham a trailblazer in the beauty industry she is also a philanthropist in her community serving non profits such as Pace Center for Girls, Polk Girls Rock, Girls Inc etc.

Cheatham believes that she is fulfilling her purpose through her civic engagement and by helping women realize that no goal set for themselves is unreachable. Through hard work, dedication, and most importantly faith in God all things are possible.
